Welcome to the 2026/2027 High Season at Grandma's Kitchen
We are open again for the new high season. Here is what is on the table this year, from a refreshed menu to our daily special.
Grandma's Kitchen reopened on October 1st for the 2026/2027 high season, and we could not be happier to be cooking for you again. Whether you are new to Phu Quoc or coming back for your favourite dish, there is a table waiting in Duong Dong.
What's new on the menu
We refreshed our menu for the new season. It is still home cooking, Vietnamese classics, French favourites and house-made fusion, but with a few new faces:
- Tom Yum with noodles, a bowl for anyone who loves a hot and sour soup
- Bò Kho, our Vietnamese beef stew
- Crispy fried shrimp and a fresh green mango salad with shrimp
- A bigger vegetarian section, including tofu with mushrooms, lemongrass tofu and sautéed morning glory
- Western specialties such as lamb shank and duck confit

Today's special
Look out for our special of the day. Right now it is the 5 Spices Duck, and it changes through the season, so ask our team what is on today. Save room for dessert too: our fresh mango pie, chocolate mousse, passion fruit pie, banana with coconut milk and tiramisu are made fresh daily.
